Magnetic order close to superconductivity in the iron-based layered LaO1-xFxFeAs systems
Clarina Dela Cruz,Clarina Dela Cruz,Qingzhen Huang,J. W. Lynn,Jiying Li,Jiying Li,William Ratcliff,Jerel L. Zarestky,Herbert A. Mook,G. F. Chen,J. L. Luo,Nan Wang,Pengcheng Dai,Pengcheng Dai +13 more
TL;DR: The role of magnetism in the superconductivity that occurs when mobile 'electrons' or 'holes' are doped into the antiferromagnetic parent compounds of rare-earth iron-based oxide systems was investigated in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI
Neutron-Diffraction Measurements of Magnetic Order and a Structural Transition in the Parent BaFe 2 As 2 Compound of FeAs-Based High-Temperature Superconductors
Qingzhen Huang,Yiming Qiu,Yiming Qiu,Wei Bao,Mark Green,Mark Green,J. W. Lynn,Y. C. Gasparovic,Y. C. Gasparovic,Tao Wu,Gang Wu,X. H. Chen +11 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a tetragonal-to-orthorhombic distortion associated with the onset of the antiferromagnetic order in the FeAs-based materials was found.
Journal ArticleDOI
Extreme sensitivity of superconductivity to stoichiometry in Fe 1+δ Se
Tyrel M. McQueen,Qingzhen Huang,Vadim Ksenofontov,Claudia Felser,Qiang Xu,Henny W. Zandbergen,Yew San Hor,Jared M. Allred,A. J. Williams,Dongxia Qu,Joseph Checkelsky,Nai Phuan Ong,Robert J. Cava +12 more
TL;DR: In this article, it was shown that superconductivity in Fe1+?Se, which can be considered the parent compound of the superconducting arsenide family, is destroyed by very small changes in stoichiometry.
Journal ArticleDOI
Structural and magnetic phase diagram of CeFeAsO 1− x F x and its relation to high-temperature superconductivity
Jun Zhao,Qingzhen Huang,Clarina Dela Cruz,Clarina Dela Cruz,Shiliang Li,J. W. Lynn,Yuanzhen Chen,Yuanzhen Chen,Mark Green,Mark Green,G. F. Chen,Gang Li,Zheng-Cai Li,J. L. Luo,Nan Wang,Pengcheng Dai,Pengcheng Dai +16 more
TL;DR: Comparison of the structural evolution of CeFeAsO(1-x)F(x) with other Fe-based superconductors suggests that the structural perfection of the Fe-As tetrahedron is important for the high-Tc superconductivity in these Fe pnictides.
Journal ArticleDOI
Tunable (δπ, δπ)-Type Antiferromagnetic Order in α-Fe(Te,Se) Superconductors
Wei Bao,Wei Bao,Yiming Qiu,Yiming Qiu,Qingzhen Huang,Mark Green,Mark Green,Paweł Zajdel,Paweł Zajdel,Michael R. Fitzsimmons,Mikhail Zhernenkov,Sung Chang,M. H. Fang,M. H. Fang,B. Qian,E. K. Vehstedt,Jinhu Yang,H. M. Pham,Leonard Spinu,Zhiqiang Mao +19 more
TL;DR: In contrast with the predicted commensurate spin-density-wave order at the nesting wave vector (pi, 0), a completely different magnetic order with a composition tunable propagation vector (deltapi, deltapi) was determined for the parent compound Fe 1+y}Te in this powder and single-crystal neutron diffraction study as discussed by the authors.
