Magnetic properties, spin waves and interaction between spin excitations and 2D electrons in interface layer in Y3Fe5O12 / AlOx / GaAs-heterostructures

TL;DR: In this article, the authors describe synthesis of submicron Y3Fe5O12 (YIG) films sputtered on GaAs-based substrates and present results of the investigation of ferromagnetic resonance (FMR), spin wave propagation and interaction between spin excitations and 2D electrons in interface layer in YIG/AlOx/GaAs-heterostructures.
Journal ArticleDOI

XMCD studies of magnetic polarization at Mo atoms in CoMo alloy and magnetically coupled Co/Mo multilayers.

TL;DR: Neither measurable induced moment at the Mo site nor interlayer coupling between the Co layers has been found for the multilayer with the thicker Mo spacer, and possible mechanisms of the coupling associated with the induced moment are discussed in detail.
Journal ArticleDOI

Effect of Ga+ irradiation on the magneto-optic spectra of Pt/Co/Pt sandwiches

TL;DR: In this paper, magneto-optic polar Kerr rotation (PKR) spectroscopy was used to investigate the effect of irradiation on alloying in the vicinity of the two interfaces.
Journal ArticleDOI

Anisotropy of magnetic domain wall orientation in ultrathin Co grown on Mo(1 1 0) buffer layer

TL;DR: In this paper, the anisotropy of magnetic domain wall orientation as a function of ultrathin Co films thickness was studied by means of the polar Kerr effect in a polarizing microscope.
