Multicolor Emission of Small Molecule-Based Amorphous Thin Films and Nanoparticles with a Single Excitation Wavelength
Eléna Ishow,Arnaud Brosseau,Gilles Clavier,Keitaro Nakatani,Patric Tauc,Céline Fiorini-Debuisschert,Sophie Neveu,Olivier Sandre,Anne Léaustic +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper, small molecule-based amorphous materials involving unsymmetrical triarylamines exhibit multicolor emission as transparent thin films and nanoparticles under single UV wavelength excitation.
Journal ArticleDOI
Designing NHC-Copper(I) Dipyridylamine Complexes for Blue Light-Emitting Electrochemical Cells
Margaux Elie,Fabien Sguerra,Florent Di Meo,Michael D. Weber,Ronan Marion,Adèle Grimault,Jean François Lohier,Aurélie Stallivieri,Arnaud Brosseau,Robert Pansu,Jean-Luc Renaud,Mathieu Linares,Matthieu Hamel,Rubén D. Costa,Sylvain Gaillard +14 more
TL;DR: The device analysis suggests that the main concern is the moderate redox stability of the complexes under high applied driving currents, leading to devices with moderate stabilities pointing to a proof-of-concept for further development.
Journal ArticleDOI
Giant Amplification of Photoswitching by a Few Photons in Fluorescent Photochromic Organic Nanoparticles
Jia Su,Tuyoshi Fukaminato,Jean Pierre Placial,Tsunenobu Onodera,Ryuju Suzuki,Hidetoshi Oikawa,Arnaud Brosseau,François Brisset,Robert Pansu,Keitaro Nakatani,Rémi Métivier +10 more
TL;DR: Fluorescent photochromic organic nanoparticles (NPs) are prepared, showing bright red emission, complete ON-OFF contrast with full reversibility, and excellent fatigue resistance, and upon successive UV and visible light irradiation, the NPs exhibit a complete fluorescence quenching and recovery at very lowphotochromic conversion levels.
Journal ArticleDOI
Two-photon fluorescent holographic rewritable micropatterning.
Eléna Ishow,Arnaud Brosseau,Gilles Clavier,Keitaro Nakatani,Robert Pansu,Jean-Jacques Vachon,Patrick Tauc,Dominique Chauvat,Cleber Renato Mendonça,Erick Piovesan +9 more
TL;DR: Monomeric amorphous systems involving an upper azo-based layer and a lower fluorophore layer have been carefully designed to enable holographic formation of micrometric emissive photopatterns through reversible photoinduced mass migration of azoderivatives.
Journal ArticleDOI
Revealing the Origins of Mechanically Induced Fluorescence Changes in Organic Molecular Crystals
Liam Wilbraham,Marine Louis,Domenico Alberga,Arnaud Brosseau,Régis Guillot,Fuyuki Ito,Frédéric Labat,Rémi Métivier,Clémence Allain,Ilaria Ciofini +9 more
TL;DR: The varied mechanofluorochromic behavior of a series of difluoroboron diketonates is shown to be driven by the formation of low-energy exciton traps in the amorphous phase, with a limited number of traps giving rise to the full change in fluorescence color.
