TL;DR: The CO2QUEST FP7 collaborative project as mentioned in this paper was designed to address the fundamentally important and urgent issues regarding the impact of the typical impurities in CO2 streams captured from fossil fuel power plants and other CO2 intensive industries on their safe and economic pipeline transportation and storage.
Journal ArticleDOI
CO2 processing and multi-pollutant control for oxy-fuel combustion systems using an advanced CO2 capture and compression unit (CO2CCU)
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors present and discuss the recent pilot-scale test results of CanmetENERGY's CO 2 CCU, which is currently integrated with the existing 0.3 MWth oxy-fuel Vertical Combustor Research Facility.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Journal ArticleDOI
Optimized Multi-pollutant Control in Oxy-fuel Combustion Systems Using CO2 Capture and Compression Process☆
TL;DR: In this article, the results from a test campaign carried out at CanmetENERGY's 0.3MW thermal integrated oxy-fuel research facility showed significant removal rates for SO x (>90%) and NO x (∼50%) and provide insight for maximizing the removal of these pollutants with simple modifications to the unit.
Journal ArticleDOI
Reaction kinetics for high pressure hydrogen oxy-combustion in the presence of high levels of H2O and CO2
Ashkan Beigzadeh,Mohammed AlAbbad,Dapeng Liu,Khalid Aljohani,Khaiyom Hakimov,T. Kashif,Kourosh Zanganeh,Eric Croiset,Aamir Farooq +8 more
TL;DR: In this article , the impact of high concentrations (45% by mole) of H2O and CO2 on IDTs of stoichiometric 4% H2 was analyzed.
