TL;DR: It is shown that manual analysis of TraDIS data reveals novel features that would not have been detected by statistical analysis alone that will assist genome annotation of less well characterized genomes and provides new insights into bacterial physiology and biochemistry.

TL;DR: This work demonstrates pulsed-mode swept-frequency laser feedback interferometry experimentally, and demonstrates that the proposed system utilising microsecond pulses has the potential to achieve 0.25 mega-pixel per second acquisition rates, paving the pathway to video frame rate THz imaging.
