Saint-Laurent,Y. Schutz,M. H. Smedberg,O. Sorlin,L. Stuttge,D. D. Warner +34 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a narrow, forward peaked neutron angular distribution, with a corresponding momentum spread considerably smaller than those measured simultaneously for N-21, O-22 and F-24 was observed for charged fragments with Z < Z(proj).
Journal ArticleDOI
Invariant mass spectrum and α-n correlation function studied in the fragmentation of 6He on a carbon target
Dmitry Aleksandrov,Thomas Aumann,Leif Axelsson,Thomas Baumann,M. J. G. Borge,L. V. Chulkov,J. Cub,W. Dostal,B. Eberlein,Th. W. Elze,H. Emling,Hans Geissel,V. Z. Goldberg,M. Golovkov,A. Surowiec,Takatoshi Suzuki,Olof Tengblad,Mikhail V. Zhukov +46 more
TL;DR: In this article, a two-step reaction mechanism was found to be a knock out of one neutron followed by the decay of the He-5 resonance, and the shape of the (alpha+n) two-body invariant mass spectrum was interpreted as mainly reflecting the 5He ground state which is a J(pi) = 3/2(-) resonance.
Journal ArticleDOI
Beta decay of 31Ar
Leif Axelsson,Juha Äystö,M. J. G. Borge,L. M. Fraile,H. O. U. Fynbo,A. Honkanen,P. Hornshøj,A. Jokinen,Björn Jonson,P.O. Lipas,Ismael Martel,Ismael Martel,I. Mukha,Thomas Nilsson,Göran Hugo Nyman,B. Petersen,K. Riisager,M. H. Smedberg,Olof Tengblad,Olof Tengblad +19 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a complete study of 31 Ar beta decay has been made by high-resolution charged-particle and gamma-ray spectroscopy, and the quenching of the Gamow-Teller strength and the isospin impurity of the IAS in 31 Cl are discussed.
Journal ArticleDOI
Two-proton emission in the decay of 31ar
Leif Axelsson,Juha Äystö,Juha Äystö,U. C. Bergmann,María José García Borge,L. M. Fraile,H. O. U. Fynbo,A. Honkanen,P. Hornshøj,A. Jokinen,Björn Jonson,Ismael Martel,Ismael Martel,I. Mukha,Thomas Nilsson,Göran Hugo Nyman,B. Petersen,K. Riisager,M. H. Smedberg,Olof Tengblad +19 more
TL;DR: In this article, the energy and angular distribution of the two protons was studied via the two-proton emission and the mechanism of the emission was investigated via the energy, angular distribution, and spin of the isobaric analogue state (IAS) in Cl-31.
