Journal ArticleDOI

Five-year clinical performance of a HEMA-free one-step self-etch adhesive in noncarious cervical lesions

TL;DR: After 5 years of clinical service, restorations bonded with the HEMA-free one-step adhesive did not need repair or replacement more often than those with the three-step etch-and-rinse adhesive, and both adhesives had a high retention rate.
Journal ArticleDOI

Potential smear layer interference with bonding of self-etching adhesives to dentin.

TL;DR: Smear debris interferes with the interaction of mild and ultra-mild self-etching adhesives with dentin and reveals a significantly lower bond strength to bur-cut dentin than to smear-free dentin.
Journal ArticleDOI

Dual cure luting composites--Part II: Clinically related properties.

TL;DR: It is concluded that the great diversity in the currently available luting Composites makes clear specifications with regard to the optimum composition of luting composites urgently needed.
Journal ArticleDOI

Influence of joint component mechanical properties and adhesive layer thickness on stress distribution in micro-tensile bond strength specimens

TL;DR: The aim of this study is to describe the pattern of stress concentration along the interface for micro-tensile bond strength (microTBS) specimens, and to show that stress concentration at the interface can be predicted.
Journal ArticleDOI

Three‐year clinical performance of a HEMA‐free one‐step self‐etch adhesive in non‐carious cervical lesions

TL;DR: Test the hypothesis that a 2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate (HEMA)-free one-step self-etch adhesive performs worse than a conventional multistep etch-and-rinse adhesive.
