Journal ArticleDOI

Superhierarchical Cobalt-Embedded Nitrogen-Doped Porous Carbon Nanosheets as Two-in-One Hosts for High-Performance Lithium–Sulfur Batteries

TL;DR: Experimental and theoretical results reveal that stable Co nanoparticles, elaborately encapsulated by N-doped graphitic carbon, can work synergistically with N heteroatoms to reserve the soluble polysulfides and promote the redox reaction kinetics of sulfur cathodes.
Journal ArticleDOI

Highly Stretchable, Adhesive, Biocompatible, and Antibacterial Hydrogel Dressings for Wound Healing

TL;DR: In this paper, cationic polyelectrolyte brushes grafted from bacterial cellulose (BC) nanofibers are introduced into polydopamine/polyacrylamide hydrogels.
Journal ArticleDOI

Mechanochemistry: A Green, Activation-Free and Top-Down Strategy to High-Surface-Area Carbon Materials

TL;DR: In this article, a green, activation-free, top-down method was developed to prepare high-surface-area carbon materials from agricultural wastes through mechanochemistry, which can smash the monolithic agricultural wastes into tiny microparticles with abundant surfaces and bulk defects, which leads to the generation of well-developed hierarchical porous structures after direct carbonization.
Journal ArticleDOI

Long-lasting renewable antibacterial porous polymeric coatings enable titanium biomaterials to prevent and treat peri-implant infection

TL;DR: Wang et al. as mentioned in this paper reported an N-halamine polymeric coating on titanium surface that simultaneously has long-lasting renewable antibacterial efficacy with good stability and biocompatibility.
