Plug-and-Play Deep Learning Framework for Volumetric Speckle Reduction in OCT

TL;DR: In this article , a conditional generative adversarial network (GAN) is proposed for OCT despeckling. But it can be trained and implemented easily in a multitude of OCT systems.
Proceedings Article

Optical coherence tomography of developing embryonic morphology

TL;DR: OCT is an imaging modality that permits the in vivo investigation of biological specimens on the micron scale as discussed by the authors, which can be thought of as an analog to ultrasound B-mode imaging except backscattering of light from biological tissue layers is detected rather than acoustic reflections.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Shadow-free motorized capsule enables accurate beam positioning and sectorized OCT imaging of the esophagus

TL;DR: A 12x36 mm motorized capsule for OCT imaging of the esophagus is demonstrated by using a distal reflector design, thus avoiding shadow caused by the motor wires and finding a symmetric and repeatable behavior during sector scanning.
