Proceedings ArticleDOI

Reciprocity in Measuring Multimode Fiber Transmission

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors demonstrate that reciprocity causes the double-pass transmission matrix to be transpose symmetric and complicates the retrieval of the single-pass transmissions, and demonstrate that the symmetric transmission matrix can be used for endoscopy.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Differential Mueller-matrix formalism for polarization sensitive optical coherence tomography

TL;DR: In this paper, the differential Mueller matrix offers useful insight into the polarization properties of biological tissue imaged with polarization sensitive optical coherence tomography, and experimentally demonstrate local depolarization in addition to local retardation.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Interferometric Spectrally Encoded Endoscopy

TL;DR: Using low coherence interferometry, spectrally encoded endoscopy (SEE) is capable of volumetric subsurface reflectance and Doppler imaging as discussed by the authors.
