Verbal persuasion and resilience of parenting self-efficacy: Preliminary findings of an experimental approach
TL;DR: This article found that positive persuasion led to higher parenting self-efficacy than negative persuasion, but parents who received positive persuasion were vulnerable to decreases in selfefficacy due to failure, while those who received negative persuasion were more vulnerable to failure.
