A Fully Noble Metal-Free Photosystem Based on Cobalt-Polyoxometalates Immobilized in a Porphyrinic Metal-Organic Framework for Water Oxidation.

TL;DR: The sandwich-type polyoxometalate composite represents a rare example of an all-in-one fully noble metal-free supramolecular heterogeneous photocatalytic system, with the catalyst and the photosensitizer within the same porous solid material.
Journal ArticleDOI

Immobilization of polyoxometalates in the Zr-based metal organic framework UiO-67

TL;DR: The encapsulation of polyoxometalates within the large pores of the Zr(iv) biphenyldicarboxylate UiO-67 metal-organic framework has been achieved, for the first time, by direct solvothermal synthesis.
Journal ArticleDOI

New Organosilyl Derivatives of the Dawson Polyoxometalate [α2-P2W17O61(RSi)2O]6−: Synthesis and Mass Spectrometric Investigation

TL;DR: The use of two organosilanes as reagents enabled the preparation of the functionalized polyoxometalate [alpha2-P2W17O61(RSi)2O]6- in good yield and ESI-MS analyses generated reduction processes which were compared to those related to [PMo11VO40]4-, the highly reducible Keggin polyoxometricalate.
