Nathan P. McNulty,Tanya Yatsunenko,Ansel Hsiao,Jeremiah J. Faith,Brian D. Muegge,Andrew L. Goodman,Bernard Henrissat,Raish Oozeer,Stéphanie Cools-Portier,Guillaume Gobert,Christian Chervaux,Dan Knights,Catherine A. Lozupone,Rob Knight,Alexis E. Duncan,James R. Bain,Michael J. TL;DR: The findings show that mice containing a sequenced model human gut microbiome can serve as part of a preclinical discovery pipeline designed to identify the effects of existing or new bacterial species with purported health benefits on the gut microbiomes of various human populations.
Journal ArticleDOI
Antimicrobial susceptibility testing of lactic acid bacteria and bifidobacteria by broth microdilution method and Etest.
Akira Kushiro,Christian Chervaux,Stéphanie Cools-Portier,Audrey Perony,Sophie Legrain-Raspaud,David Obis,Masaharu Onoue,Ariane van de Moer +7 more
TL;DR: Data from two methods of broth microdilution and Etest for measuring minimal inhibition concentration (MIC) of lactic acid bacteria and bifidobacteria for 15 antimicrobial agents can be used to revise tentative epidemiological cut-off values.
