TL;DR: It is argued that these new boundaries can be endogenously exhibited with the mathematical concepts of viability kernel and viable controls and shown how these no whinge kernels have components that should remain within safe corridor while some other components have only lower conservation limits.

Crop resistance and household resilience – The case of cassava and sweetpotato during super-typhoon Ompong in the Philippines
Marcel Gatto,Marcel Gatto,Diego Naziri,Diego Naziri,Diego Naziri,Johanna San Pedro,Christophe Béné +6 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors explored how crop resistance contribute to household resilience in extreme weather events by using cassava and sweetpotato, two root and tuber crops (RTCs), in the context of super-typhoon Ompong that wreaked havoc in the northern parts of the Philippines in 2018.

Viability and resilience of small-scale fisheries through cooperative arrangements
TL;DR: In this article, the authors developed a bio-economic model and a quantitative measure of resilience in order to explore the interaction between socioeconomic and ecological dynamics, and to analyze the potential role that cooperation and collective arrangements can play in this interaction to maintain the viability of the system.
