Correlations in Hawking radiation and the infall problem
TL;DR: In this article, the entanglement entropy is computed numerically in order to find the order unity corrections to low-energy evolution at the horizon (i.e. fuzzballs) to remove entagglement between radiation and the hole.
Journal ArticleDOI
Dynamics of critical fluctuations: Theory - phenomenology - heavy-ion collisions
Marcus Bluhm,Marcus Bluhm,Alexander Philipp Kalweit,Marlene Nahrgang,Marlene Nahrgang,Mesut Arslandok,P. Braun-Munzinger,P. Braun-Munzinger,Stefan Floerchinger,Eduardo S. Fraga,Marek Gazdzicki,C. Stephanov,Derek Teaney,Nathan Touroux,Volodymyr Vovchenko,Volodymyr Vovchenko,Nicolas Wink +39 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the current understanding of the dynamics of critical fluctuations in QCD and their measurement in heavy-ion collision experiments is discussed, and what might be learned from studying correlations in other physical systems, such as cold atomic gases.
Journal ArticleDOI

Zhao +42 more
TL;DR: The third International Workshop on QCD Challenges from pp to A-A as mentioned in this paper, which took place in August 2019 in Lund, Sweden, focused on some of the open questions in the field and try to come up with concrete suggestions for how to make progress on both the experimental and theoretical sides.
Journal ArticleDOI
Projecting the likely importance of weak-interaction-driven bulk viscosity in neutron star mergers
Elias R. Most,Elias R. Most,Steven P. Harris,Christopher Plumberg,Mark G. Alford,Jorge Noronha,Jacquelyn Noronha-Hostler,Frans Pretorius,Helvi Witek,Nicolás Yunes +9 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors estimate how much bulk viscosity driven by Urca processes is likely to affect the gravitational wave signal of a neutron star coalescence, and find that it could become significant.
Journal ArticleDOI
Causal Electric Charge Diffusion and Balance Functions in Relativistic Heavy Ion Collisions
TL;DR: In this article, the authors studied the propogation and diffusion of electric charge fluctuations in high energy heavy ion collisions using the Cattaneo form for the dissipative part of the electric current.
