Importance of platinum particle size for complete oxidation of toluene over Pt/ZSM-5 catalysts

TL;DR: Catalytic tests in complete oxidation of toluene as a model for VOC removal show that Pt-1.9/ZSM-5 has the highest activity, due to a balance of Pt dispersion and Pt(0) proportion.
Journal ArticleDOI

Mesoporous ZSM-5 Zeolite-Supported Ru Nanoparticles as Highly Efficient Catalysts for Upgrading Phenolic Biomolecules

TL;DR: In this article, a hierarchically porous ZSM-5 zeolite with micropore and b-axis-aligned mesopore-supported Ru nanoparticles (Ru/HZSM5-OM) was proposed for the hydrodeoxygenation of both small and bulky phenolic biomolecules to the corresponding alkanes.
Journal ArticleDOI

Enhanced performance in catalytic combustion of toluene over mesoporous Beta zeolite-supported platinum catalyst

TL;DR: In this article, the mesoporous Beta zeolite-supported Pt catalyst (Pt-R/Beta-H) was used for catalytic combustion of toluene.
Journal ArticleDOI

Aluminium-rich Beta zeolite-supported platinum nanoparticles for the low-temperature catalytic removal of toluene

TL;DR: In this paper, an aluminium-rich Beta zeolite-supported Pt nanoparticle (2.2 nm) [Pt/KBeta-seed-directed synthesis (SDS)] catalyst is used for the low-temperature catalytic removal of toluene and results in full conversion at a much lower temperature than a conventional KBeta-supported PnP-TEA catalyst.
Journal ArticleDOI

Atom-economical synthesis of a high silica CHA zeolite using a solvent-free route

TL;DR: Catalytic tests for the selective catalytic reduction of NOx with NH3 (NH3-SCR) and methanol-to-olefins (MTO) show that the sample from the solvent-free route exhibits comparable catalytic properties to that from the conventional route.
