Journal ArticleDOI

Long term operation of high quantum efficiency GaAs(Cs,O) photocathodes using multiple recleaning by atomic hydrogen

TL;DR: In this article, the UHV multichamber photoelectron gun was used to study the removal of surface pollutants and the degraded (Cs,O)-activation layer during the cleaning procedure.
Journal ArticleDOI

Imaging the Absolute Configuration of a Chiral Epoxide in the Gas Phase

TL;DR: The determination of theabsolute configuration of isotopically labeled (R,R)-2,3-dideuterooxirane is determined by foil-induced Coulomb explosion imaging of individual molecules by providing unambiguous and direct access to the absolute configuration of small gas-phase species.
Journal ArticleDOI

Dielectronic recombination of xenonlike tungsten ions

TL;DR: In this article, a merged-beams method has been employed for obtaining absolute rate coefficients for electron-ion recombination in the collision-energy range 0-140 eV, and the measured rate coefficient is dominated by strong DR resonances even at the lowest experimental energies.
