Journal ArticleDOI

Tissue Engineering by Self-Assembly of Cells Printed into Topologically Defined Structures

TL;DR: Three-dimensional tissue structures are formed through the postprinting fusion of the bio-ink particles, in analogy with early structure-forming processes in the embryo that utilize the apparent liquid-like behavior of tissues composed of motile and adhesive cells.
Journal ArticleDOI

Genistein Alters Methylation Patterns in Mice

TL;DR: In this article, the effect of the phytoestrogen genistein on DNA methylation was examined by using mouse differential methylation hybridization arrays to test for changes in the methylation status of the cytosine guanine dinucleotide (CpG) islands in the mouse genome.
Journal ArticleDOI

Common botanical compounds inhibit the hedgehog signaling pathway in prostate cancer.

TL;DR: These botanicals at pharmacologic concentrations are potentially safer and less expensive alternatives to cyclopamine and its pharmaceutical analogues for cancer therapy and are also able to reduce or delay prostate cancer in vivo in TRAMP mice.
Journal ArticleDOI

Identification of murine helicobacters by PCR and restriction enzyme analyses.

TL;DR: Examination of a large number of murine cecal tissues with this combination of PCR assays and restriction enzyme analyses indicated that H. hepaticus and H. bilis infections are widespread in laboratory mouse and rat colonies.
