Journal ArticleDOI

Therapeutic Massage Intervention for Hospitalized Patients with Cancer: A Pilot Study

TL;DR: Daily massage was provided to hospitalized patients with metastatic or end stage lung or gastrointestinal cancer and family caregivers were instructed in the use of massage during hospitalization, suggesting that caregivers may benefit from providing massage to patients.
Journal ArticleDOI

A crystal form of ribulose-1,5-bisphosphate carboxylase/oxygenase from Nicotiana tabacum in the activated state.

TL;DR: A new crystal form of ribulose-1,5-bisphosphate carboxylase/oxygenase from Nicotiana tabacum has been obtained at alkaline pH with polyethylene glycol 8000 in the presence of a non-ionic detergent, beta-octyl glucoside.
Journal ArticleDOI

New crystal forms of glutamine synthetase and implications for the molecular structure.

TL;DR: Adenylylation of the enzyme does not seem to cause a quaternary structural transition, though small changes of intensities suggest that there may be tertiary structural changes within the subunits.
