Microcavity effects and optically pumped lasing in single conjugated polymer nanowires
TL;DR: This work reports the first observation of optically pumped lasing in single conjugated polymer nanowires, and the waveguide and resonator properties of each wire are characterized in the far optical field at room temperature.
Journal ArticleDOI
Solution‐Processed MoS2/Organolead Trihalide Perovskite Photodetectors
Yan Wang,Yan Wang,Raymond Fullon,Muharrem Acerce,Christopher E. Petoukhoff,Jieun Yang,Chenggan Chen,Songnan Du,Sin Ki Lai,Shu Ping Lau,Damien Voiry,Deirdre M. O'Carroll,Gautam Gupta,Aditya D. Mohite,Shengdong Zhang,Hang Zhou,Manish Chhowalla +16 more
TL;DR: The results show that the collection of charge carriers is strongly dependent on the electronic properties of the 2D MoS2 with metallicMoS2 showing high responsivity and the semiconducting phase exhibiting high on/off ratios.
Journal ArticleDOI
Melt-processed polyfluorene nanowires as active waveguides.
Journal ArticleDOI
All-in-One: Achieving Robust, Strongly Luminescent and Highly Dispersible Hybrid Materials by Combining Ionic and Coordinate Bonds in Molecular Crystals.
TL;DR: A unique "all-in-one" (AIO) approach in constructing robust structures with desired properties is reported, which allows formation of both ionic and coordinate bonds within a molecular cluster, which greatly enhances structural stability while maintaining the molecular identity of the cluster and its high luminescence.
