Journal ArticleDOI

Overall water splitting by graphdiyne-exfoliated and -sandwiched layered double-hydroxide nanosheet arrays.

TL;DR: A bifunctional electrocatalyst is shown, comprising graphdiyne-exfoliated and -sandwiched iron/cobalt layered double-hydroxide nanosheet arrays grown on nickel foam, for the oxygen and hydrogen evolution reactions, revealing that the charge transport kinetics of the structure were superior to iron/ cobalt stacked double-Hydroxide, a prerequisite for improved electrocatalytic performance.
Journal ArticleDOI

Multi-core yolk-shell like mesoporous double carbon-coated silicon nanoparticles as anode materials for lithium-ion batteries

TL;DR: In this paper, a double carbon-coated multi-core yolk-shell mesoporous material was developed to mitigate the volume expansion of silicon-based materials and improve their conductivity in lithium ion batteries.
Journal ArticleDOI

Mechanically triggered reversible stepwise tricolor switching and thermochromism of anthracene-o-carborane dyad.

TL;DR: A novel single organic molecule– carborane conjugate, CAN, was synthesized in a high yield via a modified nickel-catalyzed cross-coupling reaction incorporating an anthracene unit and an o-carborane moiety.
Journal ArticleDOI

Sulfonated graphene oxide as an adsorbent for removal of Pb2+ and methylene blue

TL;DR: The results are promising not only providing effective adsorbing heavy metal ions and organic dyes, but also gaining insights into adsorption mechanism of graphene materials.
