Energy and environment policy case for a global project on artificial photosynthesis
Thomas Faunce,Wolfgang Lubitz,Alfred W. Rutherford,Douglas R. MacFarlane,Gary F. Moore,Peidong Yang,Peidong Yang,Daniel G. Nocera,Thomas A. Moore,Duncan H. Gregory,Shunichi Fukuzumi,Kyung Byung Yoon,Fraser A. Armstrong,Michael R. Wasielewski,Stenbjörn Styring +14 more
TL;DR: A policy case is made for a global project on artificial photosynthesis including its scientific justification, potential governance structure and funding mechanisms.
Journal ArticleDOI
A mechanism for non-stoichiometry in the lithium amide/lithium imide hydrogen storage reaction.
William I. F. David,Martin O. Jones,Duncan H. Gregory,Catherine M. Jewell,Simon R. Johnson,and Allan Walton,P. P. Edwards +6 more
TL;DR: It is demonstrated, through structural refinement from synchrotron X-ray diffraction data, that the mechanism of the transformation between lithium amide and lithium imide during hydrogen cycling in the important Li-N-H hydrogen storage system is a bulk reversible reaction that occurs in a non-stoichiometric manner within the cubic anti-fluorite-like Li-n-H structure.
Journal ArticleDOI
Topological isomerism in coordination polymers
Alexander J. Blake,Neil R. Brooks,Neil R. Champness,Marcello Crew,Anne Deveson,Dieter Fenske,Duncan H. Gregory,Lyall R. Hanton,Peter Hubberstey,Martin Schröder +9 more
TL;DR: In this paper, three coordination polymers formed between CuI and bpds [bpds ======= bis(4-pyridyl)disulfide] have been prepared and fully characterised, demonstrating rare examples of solvent dependent topological isomerism in tetrahedral polymers.
Journal ArticleDOI
Emerging concepts in solid-state hydrogen storage: the role of nanomaterials design
Hazel Reardon,James M. Hanlon,Robert W. Hughes,Agata Godula-Jopek,Tapas Kumar Mandal,Tapas Kumar Mandal,Duncan H. Gregory +6 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors highlight the state-of-the-art solid-state hydrogen storage and describe newly emerging routes towards meeting the practical demands required of a solid state storage system.
