Modulations in the radio light curve of the Type IIb supernova 2001ig: evidence for a Wolf-Rayet binary progenitor?

TL;DR: In this article, the radio evolution of supernova (SN) 2001ig in NGC 7424, from 700 d of multifrequency monitoring with the Australia Telescope Compact Array (ATCA) and the Very Large Array (VLA), is described.
Journal ArticleDOI

Extended, regular HI structures around early-type galaxies

TL;DR: In this paper, the morphology and kinematics of the HI of a sample of 30 southern gas-rich early-type galaxies selected from the HIPASS data set were discussed, and it was shown that the large, regular structures likely represent key structures for tracing the origin and evolution of these galaxies.
Journal ArticleDOI

How common are ‘dust-lanes’ in early-type galaxies?

TL;DR: In this paper, a fraction des galaxies contenant de la poussiere was evaluated, a fraction of which was found to be ∼40% for the galaxies elliptiques proches and un peu plus for les galaxies SO.
Journal ArticleDOI

The Australia Telescope 20GHz (AT20G) Survey: analysis of the extragalactic source sample

TL;DR: In this article, the authors present an analysis of radio spectral properties in total intensity and polarisation, sizes, optical identifications, and redshifts of the sample of the 5808 extragalactic sources in the survey catalogue of confirmed sources over the whole Southern sky.
