Delineation of the role of metabolism in the hepatotoxicity of trichloroethylene and perchloroethylene: a dose-effect study.
TL;DR: The relationship among dose, metabolism and hepatotoxicity in mice which resulted from subchronic exposure to the chlorinated solvents trichloroethylene and perchloroethylenes were examined and pattern is consistent with formation of the toxic intermediate in the primary metabolic pathway of each compound.

Influence of Lead on Mineralization during Bone Growth
TL;DR: The results of this study suggest that lead adversely influences bone development through disruption of mineralization during growth, consistent with effects observed in the metaphyseal regions of bone in lead-exposed rats and pigs.

TL;DR: In this article, a framework is presented within which to organize consideration of appropriate measures of delivered dose and selection of an appropriate procedure for interspecies conversion of kinetically equivalent doses, and the effects of conventional scaling procedures on initial and steady-state concentrations and on areas under the blood concentration curve are shown.
