High Community SARS-CoV-2 Antibody Seroprevalence in a Ski Resort Community, Blaine County, Idaho, US. Preliminary Results

TL;DR: A cross-sectional seroprevalence study of IgG antibodies for nucleocapsid of SARS-CoV-2 among the residents of Blaine County, Idaho, a ski resort community with high COVID-19 attack rates suggests the community is not yet near the herd immunity threshold.
Posted ContentDOI

Evaluation of SARS-CoV-2 neutralization assays for antibody monitoring in natural infection and vaccine trials

TL;DR: Using plasma samples from COVID-19 convalescent individuals with mild-to-moderate disease from a localized outbreak in a single region of the western US, three platforms for SARS-CoV-2 neutralization are compared: assay with live SARS/pseudovirus, pseudovirus assay utilizing lentiviral and vesicular stomatitis virus packaging, and a surrogate ELISA test.
Journal ArticleDOI

Distinct populations of antigen-specific tissue-resident CD8+ T cells in human cervix mucosa

TL;DR: In this article, single-cell RNA-Seq approaches to simultaneously define gene expression and TCR clonotypes of the human ectocervix were used to identify distinct populations of CD8+ T cells with IFNGhiGZMBloCD69hiCD103lo or IFNGloGZMBhiCD69medCD103hi phenotypes.
Journal ArticleDOI

Methods to Measure Antibody Neutralization of Live Human Coronavirus OC43.

TL;DR: In this paper, a human monoclonal antibody (OC2) was used to neutralize the live virus derived from the original isolate of the human Betacoronavirus OC43.
