Journal ArticleDOI

Structure, composition and optical properties of Cu2ZnSnS4 thin films deposited by Pulsed Laser Deposition method

TL;DR: In this article, the results of energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX) indicate that these CZTS thin films are Cu-rich and S-poor.
Journal ArticleDOI

Modulated photoluminescence spectroscopy with a step-scan Fourier transform infrared spectrometer

TL;DR: In this article, a modulated photoluminescence (PL) technique based on step-scan (SS)-FTIR spectrometer is developed for semiconductors, and applications of the technique are given as examples in the PL study of mid-infrared HgCdTe thin films and nearinfrared GaInP∕AlGaInP multiple quantum wells, respectively.
Journal ArticleDOI

Solution-processed SnO2 interfacial layer for highly efficient Sb2Se3 thin film solar cells

TL;DR: In this article, a solution-processed SnO2 layer was incorporated into Sb2Se3 thin film solar cells, which achieved an improvement of 39% relative to that of the solar cell without SnO 2 interfacial layer.
Journal ArticleDOI

Comprehensive understanding of heat-induced degradation of triple-cation mixed halide perovskite for a robust solar cell

TL;DR: In this article, the authors explore the thermal response of the photovoltaic performances to access device physical changes and show that the efficiency loss originates from decreased charge mobility, increased trap density and generation of PbI2 charge recombination centers near the interface.
Journal ArticleDOI

Origin of Band-Tail and Deep-Donor States in Cu2ZnSnS4 Solar Cells and Their Suppression through Sn-Poor Composition.

TL;DR: It is highlighted that a Sn-poor composition is critical for the reduction of band-tailing effects and deep-donor defects and thus the overcoming of the severe open-circuit voltage (Voc) deficiency problem in CZTS solar cells.
