TL;DR: In this article , peak hazard rates and peak time of recurrence among patients who underwent resection of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) were identified from a multi-institutional database.

Porta hepatis blood steam interruption clamp
TL;DR: In this paper, a porta hepatis blood steam interruption clamp is used for interrupting hepatic blood flow at the porta hepis and reducing blood bleeding in a liver resection process in a hepatic surgery.
Journal ArticleDOI
The Performance of GALAD Score for Diagnosing Hepatocellular Carcinoma in Patients with Chronic Liver Diseases: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis
TL;DR: In this paper , the authors conducted a meta-analysis to investigate the GALAD score's overall diagnostic performance in differentiating HCC in chronic liver diseases, and they highlighted the superior diagnostic accuracy of GAD score for detecting any-stage HCC with a high sensitivity and specificity, especially for early stage HCC, with relatively stable diagnostic performance.
Journal ArticleDOI
Loss of function of Notch1 identifies a poor prognosis group of early stage hepatocellular carcinoma following hepatectomy
Jian Liu,Jingfeng Liu,Kui Wang,Zhenlin Yan,Xuying Wan,Aimin Huang,Yizhou Wang,Jun Li,Yong Xia,Lehua Shi,Bing-Hua Jiao,Yongjie Zhang,Feng Shen +12 more
TL;DR: The status of Notch1 is useful for predicting the prognosis of patients with early stage HCC undergoing hepatectomy and was an independent factor for recurrence and survival in this cohort and subgroup.
Journal ArticleDOI
Development and validation of safety and efficacy-associated Risk calculator for hepatocellular Carcinoma in the elderly after resection (SEARCHER): A multi-institutional observational study.
Zixiang Chen,Myron Schwartz,Li-Hui Gu,Lei Liang,Ping Wang,Matteo Cescon,Ju-Dong Li,Ying Jian Liang,Jia Pu,Ya-Hao Zhou,Hong Wang,Wei Gu,Ting-Hao Chen,Zhi-Yu Chen,Ming Wang,Chao Li,Chengcheng Zhang,Timothy M. Pawlik,Wan Yee Lau,Feng Shen,Fu-bao Liu,Tian Yang +21 more
TL;DR: In this paper , the authors developed a safety and efficacy-associated risk calculator for hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) in the elderly after resection (SEARCHER).
