Journal ArticleDOI

SARS-CoV-2-Positive Sputum and Feces After Conversion of Pharyngeal Samples in Patients With COVID-19.

TL;DR: A convenience sample of patients admitted to Beijing Ditan Hospital, Capital Medical University, with a diagnosis of COVID-19 and paired RT-qPCR testing of pharyngeal swabs with either sputum or feces samples showed positive results for SARS–CoV-2 RNA.
Journal ArticleDOI

Genomic surveillance of COVID-19 cases in Beijing.

TL;DR: Genomic comparisons reveal higher genomic diversity in the imported group compared to both the Wuhan exposure and local transmission groups, indicating continuous genomic evolution during global transmission and imply that SARS-CoV-2 genomes may have high mutational tolerance.
Journal ArticleDOI

Distinct Mitochondrial Disturbance in CD4+T and CD8+T Cells From HIV-Infected Patients.

TL;DR: HIV infection and antiretroviral therapy both led to mitochondrial disturbances in CD4+T cells and CD8-T cells; however, the abnormal changes in mitochondrial parameters in CD 4+T Cells were different from those in CD8+T cell caused by HIV infection and anti-viral therapy.
Journal ArticleDOI

COVID-19 reinfection in the presence of neutralizing antibodies

TL;DR: After a short recovery period, COVID-19 reinfections could occur in convalescent patients, even those with measurable levels of neutralizing antibodies as discussed by the authors, so effective vaccinations and protective public health measures are recommended for the convalescence COVID19 patients.
