TL;DR: This study establishes benchmarks against accurate crystallographic structural information using spectroscopic techniques that are not restricted to single crystals and shows that the cytotoxic activity of the biomimetics on leukemia and lung tumoral cells is highest for complexes with electron-donating groups.

TL;DR: Results show that complex 1 has a good therapeutic prospect, and at concentrations that compound 1 inhibits tumoral cell growth it does not affect macrophage viability.

TL;DR: The interaction of tetracycline and oxovanadium(IV) in aqueous solution was studied by potentiometric and spectrophotometric methods and results indicate that the first vanadium coordinates to the BCD-ring system and the second one to the A-ring.
