Key characteristics for tool choice in indicator-based sustainability assessment at farm level

TL;DR: In this article, the authors focused on the choice of more complex integrated indicator-based tools at the farm level and determined key characteristics as criteria for tool choice, and derived 11 key characteristics to describe differences between the case tools.
Journal ArticleDOI

Performance of High Arctic tundra plants improved during but deteriorated after exposure to a simulated extreme temperature event

TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigated the impact of extreme temperature events on the carbon balance of a tundra ecosystem. And they found that during the heat wave, the heated plants were a smaller sink compared with their unheated counterparts, whereas afterwards the balance was not affected.
Journal ArticleDOI

Climate Warming Postpones Senescence in High Arctic Tundra

TL;DR: In this article, the authors experimentally warmed patches of High Arctic tundra with infrared heating in Northeast Greenland and found that experimental warming significantly increased green cover, for example, at the time of peak cover, the total green cover was enhanced from 59.1 to 67.3%.

Farmers' reasons to accept bio-based fertilizers: A choice experiment in seven different European countries
