Lymphoid neogenesis in chronic rejection: Evidence for a local humoral alloimmune response
Olivier Thaunat,Anne-Christine Field,Jianping Dai,Liliane Louedec,Natacha Patey,Marie-Françoise Bloch,Chantal Mandet,Marie-France Belair,Patrick Bruneval,Olivier Meilhac,B. Bellon,Etienne Joly,Jean-Baptiste Michel,Antonino Nicoletti +13 more
TL;DR: It is shown that the appearance of germinal centers in chronically rejected tissues implies that the graft is not only the target of the alloimmune response but also a site where this response actually develops, so as to optimize the communication between the targeted tissue and the immune effectors.
Journal ArticleDOI
Concentrated collagen hydrogels as dermal substitutes.
Christophe Hélary,Isabelle Bataille,Isabelle Bataille,Aicha Abed,Aicha Abed,Corinne Illoul,Annie Anglo,Liliane Louedec,Didier Letourneur,Didier Letourneur,Anne Meddahi-Pellé,Anne Meddahi-Pellé,Marie-Madeleine Giraud-Guille +12 more
TL;DR: The results demonstrate that concentrated collagen hydrogels can be considered as new candidates for dermal substitution because they are is easy to handle, do not contract drastically, favor cell growth, and can be quickly integrated in vivo.
Journal ArticleDOI
Organ Repair, Hemostasis, and In Vivo Bonding of Medical Devices by Aqueous Solutions of Nanoparticles
Anne Meddahi-Pellé,Aurélie Legrand,Alba Marcellan,Alba Marcellan,Liliane Louedec,Didier Letourneur,Ludwik Leibler +6 more
TL;DR: It is demonstrated using Stöber silica or iron oxide nanoparticles that nanobridging, that is, adhesion by aqueous nanoparticle solutions, can be used in vivo in rats to achieve rapid and strong closure and healing of deep wounds in skin and liver.
Journal ArticleDOI
Fibrosis of the left atria during progression of heart failure is associated with increased matrix metalloproteinases in the rat.
Christophe Boixel,Vincent Fontaine,Catherine Rucker-Martin,Paul Milliez,Liliane Louedec,Jean-Baptiste Michel,Marie Paule Jacob,Stéphane N. Hatem +7 more
TL;DR: Hemodynamic overload of the atria is an important pathogenic factor of fibrosis; MMP-7 appears to be involved in the early stage of this tissue remodeling process.
Journal ArticleDOI
Experimental diuretic effects of Rosmarinus officinalis and Centaurium erythraea
TL;DR: A diuretic effect of aqueous extracts of R. officinalis L. and C. erythraea L. is demonstrated with the most effective dose for water and electrolyte excretion being 8% for both plants.
