DORIS/SLR POD modeling improvements for Jason-1 and Jason-2

TL;DR: In this paper, a detailed University College London (UCL) radiation pressure model for Jason-1, which includes self-shadowing and thermal re-radiation, is compared to the use of a macromodel for radiation pressure surface force modeling.
Journal ArticleDOI

IDS contribution to ITRF2008

TL;DR: For the first time, the International DORIS Service (IDS) has produced a technique level combination based on the contributions of seven analysis centers (ACs), including the European Space Operations Center (ESOC), Geodetic Observatory Pecny (GOP), Geoscience Australia (GAU), the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC), the Institut Geographique National (IGN), the Institute of Astronomy, Russian Academy of Sciences (INASAN, named as INA), and CNES/CLS (named as LCA) as mentioned in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI

Simultaneous estimation of the masses of Mars, Phobos, and Deimos using spacecraft distant encounters

TL;DR: In this paper, the mass of Mars and its satellites, Phobos and Deimos, were estimated from the Mariner 9 and Viking 1 and 2 Orbiter tracking data using the many distant encounters of the spacecraft with these small bodies rather than the few "close encounters" used in previous studies.
Journal ArticleDOI

Time variations of Mars' gravitational field and seasonal changes in the masses of the polar ice caps

TL;DR: The United States National Aeronautics and Space Administration (USNGA), Mars Global Surveyor Project (MSGSP), NASA Mars Program (MSP) as mentioned in this paper.
