Journal ArticleDOI
Comprehensive micro-scaled proteome and phosphoproteome characterization of archived retrospective cancer repositories.
Corinna Friedrich,Simon Schallenberg,Marieluise Kirchner,Marieluise Kirchner,Matthias Ziehm,Matthias Ziehm,Sylvia Niquet,Sylvia Niquet,Mohamed Haji,Christin Beier,Jens Neudecker,Frederick Klauschen,Philipp Mertins +12 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors evaluate the feasibility of (phospho-)proteomics on FFPE lung tissue regarding protein extraction, quantification, pre-analytics, and sample size.
Journal ArticleDOI
Tubular, lactating, and ductal adenomas are devoid of MED12 Exon2 mutations, and ductal adenomas show recurrent mutations in GNAS and the PI3K–AKT pathway
Anna-Lena Volckmar,Jonas Leichsenring,Christa Flechtenmacher,Nicole Pfarr,Udo Siebolts,Martina Kirchner,Jan Budczies,Michael Bockmayr,Kathrin Ridinger,K. Lorenz,Esther Herpel,Aurelia Noske,Wilko Weichert,Frederick Klauschen,Peter Schirmacher,Roland Penzel,Volker Endris,Albrecht Stenzinger +17 more
TL;DR: The results suggest that ductal adenomas are related to papillomas of the breast and screening for mutations in exon 2 of MED12 might help to facilitate differential diagnosis between tubular adenoma and fibroadenoma in difficult cases.
Journal ArticleDOI
TP53 Mutations Predict Sensitivity to Adjuvant Gemcitabine in Patients with Pancreatic Ductal Adenocarcinoma: Next-Generation Sequencing Results from the CONKO-001 Trial
Marianne Sinn,Bruno Valentin Sinn,Denise Treue,U. Keilholz,Frederik Damm,Rosa Schmuck,Philipp Lohneis,Frederick Klauschen,Jana Käthe Striefler,Marcus Bahra,Hendrik Bläker,Sven Bischoff,Uwe Pelzer,Helmut Oettle,Hanno Riess,Jan Budczies,Jan Budczies,Carsten Denkert,Carsten Denkert +18 more
TL;DR: The sensitivity of TP53mut PDAC to gemcitabine in CONKO-001 provides a lead for further mechanistic investigations and a functional validation in The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) sequencing data.
Journal ArticleDOI
Viscoelasticity-based magnetic resonance elastography for the assessment of liver fibrosis in hepatitis C patients after liver transplantation.
Carsten Kamphues,Dieter Klatt,Roberta Bova,Ali Yahyazadeh,M Bahra,Jürgen Braun,Frederick Klauschen,Peter Neuhaus,Ingolf Sack,Patrick Asbach +9 more
TL;DR: MR elastography represents a promising non-invasive procedure for the assessment of higher grades of fibrosis in HCV patients after liver transplantation, and the poor correlation for lower grades of Fibrosis suggests unknown mechanical interactions in the transplanted liver.
Journal ArticleDOI
Support of a molecular tumour board by an evidence-based decision management system for precision oncology.
Mario Lamping,Manuela Benary,Serge Leyvraz,Clemens Messerschmidt,Eric Blanc,Thomas Kessler,Moritz Schütte,Dido Lenze,Korinna Jöhrens,Susen Burock,Konrad Klinghammer,Sebastian Ochsenreither,Christine Sers,Reinhold Schäfer,Ingeborg Tinhofer,Dieter Beule,Frederick Klauschen,Marie-Laure Yaspo,U. Keilholz,Damian T. Rieke +19 more
TL;DR: The development of an evidence-based workflow allowed for the clinical interpretation of complex molecular data and facilitated the translation of personalized treatment strategies into routine clinical care.
