Experimental investigation of nitrogen based emissions from an ammonia fueled SI-engine
TL;DR: In this paper, a single cylinder 0.612l CFR engine with a compression ratio varying from 7 to 15 using a fuel composition of 80% NH 3 and 20% H 2.
Journal ArticleDOI
A Progress Review on Soot Experiments and Modeling in the Engine Combustion Network (ECN)

TL;DR: The authors from DTU acknowledge the Technical University of Denmark, Danish Strategic Research Council, and MAN Diesel & Turbo as mentioned in this paper for their support of the In-cylinder emission reduction project.
Journal ArticleDOI
Diffuse back-illumination setup for high temporally resolved extinction imaging.
Fredrik Ree Westlye,Keith Penney,Anders Ivarsson,Lyle M. Pickett,Julien Manin,Scott A. Skeen +5 more
TL;DR: This work presents the development of an optical setup for quantitative, high-temporal resolution line-of-sight extinction imaging in harsh optical environments where time scales are short and perceived attenuation by refractive index gradients along the optical path can be significant.
Proceedings ArticleDOI
Penetration and combustion characterization of cavitating and non-cavitating fuel injectors under diesel engine conditions
Fredrik Ree Westlye,Michele Battistoni,Scott A. Skeen,Julien Manin,Lyle M. Pickett,Anders Ivarsson +5 more
Journal ArticleDOI
Evaluation of spectral radiative properties of gases in high-pressure combustion
TL;DR: In this article , the authors used a fixed pseudo-Lorentzian line profile for CO 2 and H 2 O absorption spectra at high pressure and temperatures to validate their modelled spectra based on the HITEMP 2010 database.
