Advanced Vadose Zone Simulations Using TOUGH
Stefan Finsterle,Christine Doughty,Michael B. Kowalsky,George J. Moridis,Lehua Pan,Tianfu Xu,Yingqi Zhang,Karsten Pruess +7 more
TL;DR: Fundamental and computational challenges in simulating vadose zone processes are discussed, recent advances in modeling such systems are reviewed, and some capabilities of the TOUGH suite of codes are demonstrated using illustrative examples.
Proceedings ArticleDOI
Challenges, Uncertainties and Issues Facing Gas Production From Hydrate Deposits in Geologic Systems
George J. Moridis,Timothy S. Collett,Mehran Pooladi-Darvish,Steven H. Hancock,J. Carlos Santamarina,Ray Boswell,Timothy J. Kneafsey,Jonny Rutqvist,Matthew T. Reagan,E. Dendy Sloan,Amadeu K. Sum,Carolyn A. Koh +11 more

TOUGH2 software qualification
TL;DR: The purpose of this package of reports is to provide all software baseline documents necessary for the software qualification of TOUGH2.
Journal Article
Depressurization-induced gas production from class 1 and class 2 hydrate deposits
TL;DR: In this article, the authors used TOUGH-FX/HYDRATE to study the depressurization-induced gas production from hydrate deposits and determined that large volumes of gas could be readily produced at high rates for long times using conventional technology.
