Gravitational lensing detection of an extremely dense environment around a galaxy cluster
Mauro Sereno,Carlo Giocoli,Carlo Giocoli,Luca Izzo,Federico Marulli,Federico Marulli,Alfonso Veropalumbo,Stefano Ettori,Lauro Moscardini,Lauro Moscardini,Giovanni Covone,A. Ferragamo,A. Ferragamo,R. Barrena,R. Barrena,Alina Streblyanska,Alina Streblyanska +16 more
TL;DR: The first detection of correlated dark matter associated to a single cluster, PSZ2 G099.86+58.45, was reported in this paper, where the measured shear is very large and points at environment matter density in notable excess of the cosmological mean.

TL;DR: The SUpernova Diversity And Rate Evolution (SUDARE) program at the VLT Survey Telescope (VST) has been used to measure the volumetric SN rates as a function of redshift for the first 2 years of data from SUDARE.

ClG J1205+4429, the Most Distant Fossil Group at z=0.59
TL;DR: In this paper, ULMER et al. presented a method to detect the presence of a single photon in a set of images taken from the International Astronomical Observatory of Brazil (IAG).

Galaxy-galaxy lensing in the VOICE deep survey
Rui Luo,Li Fu,Wentao Luo,Nicola R. Napolitano,Ling-Hua Xie,Mario Radovich,Jing Liu,Rui Li,Valeria Amaro,Zhuoyin Chen,Dezi Liu,Zuhui Fan,Giovanni Covone +12 more
TL;DR: In this article , the authors estimate the excess surface density (ESD; ΔΣ ) based on galaxy-galaxy measurements around galaxies at lower redshift (0.10 < 𝑧 𝒙 < 0.35 ) while selecting the background sources to be at higher redshift ranging from 0.3 to 1.5.

TL;DR: In this paper , a novel approach for the search of dark matter in the DarkSide-50 experiment, relying on Bayesian Networks, is presented. But it does not make any assumptions about the linearity of the problem or the shape of the probability distribution functions, and no need to morph signal and background spectra as a function of nuisance parameters.
