VIMOS-IFU survey of z~0.2 massive galaxy clusters. I. Observations of the strong lensing cluster Abell 2667

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors presented extensive multi-color imaging and low-resolution VIMOS Integral Field Unit spectroscopic observations of the X-ray luminous cluster Abell 2667 (z=0.233).
Journal ArticleDOI

Calibration of the liquid argon ionization response to low energy electronic and nuclear recoils with DarkSide-50

P. Agnes, +137 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors reported the detection of the ionization signal amplified via electroluminescence in the gas phase, allowing to explore recoil energies down to the sub-keV range.
Journal ArticleDOI

The DarkSide Program

B. Rossi, +114 more
TL;DR: DarkSide-50 at Gran Sasso underground laboratory (LNGS), Italy, is a direct dark matter search experiment based on a liquid argon TPC as mentioned in this paper, which has completed its first dark matter run using atmospheric argon as target.

Detecting planets around stars in nearby galaxies

TL;DR: In this article, the capability of photometric microlensing extends to the detection of signals caused by planets around stars in nearby galaxies (e.g. M31) and that there is no other method that can achieve this.
