Journal ArticleDOI

Palladium-catalyzed oxidative aryltrifluoromethylation of activated alkenes at room temperature.

TL;DR: A palladium-catalyzed intramolecular oxidative aryltrifluoromethylation reaction of activated alkenes has been explored, which allows for an efficient synthesis of a variety of CF(3)-containing oxindoles.
Journal ArticleDOI

N-Trifluoromethylthio-dibenzenesulfonimide: A Shelf-Stable, Broadly Applicable Electrophilic Trifluoromethylthiolating Reagent.

TL;DR: The super electrophilicity of a shelf-stable, easily prepared trifluoromethylthio-dibenzenesulfonimide 7 was demonstrated and exhibits reactivity remarkably higher than that of other known electrophilic trifLUorometHylthiolating reagents.
Journal ArticleDOI

Highly Selective Pd-Catalyzed Intermolecular Fluorosulfonylation of Styrenes

TL;DR: A novel Pd-catalyzed intermolecular regio- and diastereoselective fluorosulfonylation of styrenes has been developed under mild conditions and an unusual mechanism, in which a high-valent L2Pd(III)F species side-selectively reacts with a benzylic carbon radical to deliver a C-F bond is revealed.
Journal ArticleDOI

A highly sensitive isotope-coded derivatization method and its application for the mass spectrometric analysis of analytes containing the carboxyl group.

TL;DR: The high abundance product ions from d(0)-/d(6)-DMPP labeled carboxylic acids indicate high efficiency of the gas-phase cleavage induced by the labeling reagent, and can be used in single reaction monitoring to achieve extremely high sensitivity toward the target analytes.
Journal ArticleDOI

Pd-catalyzed dehydrogenative cross-coupling of polyfluoroarenes with heteroatom-substituted enones.

TL;DR: The first example of intermolecular regioselective α-arylation of heteroatom-substituted enones with polyfluoroarenes via twofold C-H bond functionalization using a palladium catalyst is reported.
