Waveform control method for mitigating harmonics of inverter systems with nonlinear load
TL;DR: Results validate that the proposed solution can achieve significant mitigation of harmonic component at DC side with nonlinear load as well as a high quality output voltage without the need for extra large capacitive energy storage element implementation.
Proceedings ArticleDOI
A fixed-frequency bidirectional resonant DC-DC converter suitable for wide voltage range
TL;DR: In this article, a bidirectional resonant dc-dc converter is proposed for wide voltage gain range applications (e.g., energy storage systems), which is realized by configuring a full-bridge mode and a half-bridge operation during each switching cycle.
Proceedings ArticleDOI
Mission Profile-based Accelerated Testing of DC-link Capacitors in Photovoltaic Inverters
Ariya Sangwongwanich,Yanfeng Shen,Andrii Chub,Elizaveta Liivik,Dmitri Vinnikov,Huai Wang,Frede Blaabjerg +6 more
TL;DR: A new reliability testing concept for the dc-link capacitor in PV inverters is proposed and it is shown that the testing time can be reduced to 2.5 % of the real field operation lifetime, if the solar irradiance amplitude is increased by 20 % and the ambient temperature is elevated to 75 °C.
Journal ArticleDOI
Analytical Modeling and Design of Capacitor Bank Considering Thermal Coupling Effect
Haoran Wang,Huai Wang +1 more
TL;DR: In this article, a measurement-based lump thermal model and a physical-model-based analytical thermal model are proposed for the thermal matching of capacitors in a bank by optimizing the parameters of individual capacitors, such as the rated parameters and actual loading.
Proceedings ArticleDOI
Reliability Study of Input Side Capacitors in Impedance-Source PV Microconverters
TL;DR: In this article, the reliability issues of three different types of capacitors (ceramic, electrolytic and film) applied in the input side of an impedance-source photovoltaic (PV) microconverter having an ultra-wide dc gain range are discussed.
