Supersymmetric indices of 3d S-fold SCFTs

TL;DR: In this paper, the S-fold superconformal field theories with small rank gauge groups were investigated and a new class of theories with a discrete global symmetry, whose gauge symmetry in the quiver has a different global structure from those that have been studied earlier.

Entropy function from toric geometry

TL;DR: In this article, it was shown that a Cardy-like limit of the superconformal index of 4d ρ = 4$ SYM accounts for the entropy function whose Legendre transform corresponds to the entropy of the holographic dual AdS$_5$ rotating black hole.
Journal ArticleDOI

The moduli spaces of S-fold CFTs

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors examined three dimensional quiver theories that arise from brane configurations with an inclusion of the S-fold and systematically studied the moduli spaces of those quivers, including the cases in which the non-zero Chern-Simons levels are turned on.
Journal ArticleDOI

Symmetry enhancement and duality walls in 5d gauge theories

TL;DR: In this paper, a class of 4D superconformal field theories arising from a construction motivated by duality walls in 5D gauge theories are studied. But the main features of these theories are that they exhibit a flavour symmetry enhancement, and with supersymmetry enhancement for certain models, in the infrared.
Journal ArticleDOI

Variations on S -fold CFTs

TL;DR: In this article, it was shown that the S-fold CFTs can arise from an appropriate insertion of an Sfold into a brane system, in the presence of an orientifold threeplane or an orientiferold fiveplane.
