Journal ArticleDOI

A capacitive RF power sensor based on MEMS technology

TL;DR: In this paper, the electrostatic force between an RF signal line and a suspended membrane is detected capacitively, allowing the sensing of the signal power with extremely low dissipative losses.
Journal ArticleDOI

Four layer monolithic integrated high Tc dc SQUID magnetometer

TL;DR: YBa2Cu3O7−x based monolithic integrated dc SQUID magnetometers have been fabricated and characterized in this paper, which consist of four layers, including two superconducting layers, and first realizations operate up to 73 K.
Journal ArticleDOI

Noise properties of direct current SQUIDs with quasiplanar YBa2Cu3O7 Josephson junctions

TL;DR: In this article, the authors describe the noise performance of dc SQUIDs fabricated with quasiplanar ramp-type Josephson junctions on the basis of c-axis-oriented YBa2Cu3O7/PrBa2CogO7 thin-film heterostructures and show that the noise spectrum of the dc SQUID was measured with dc and ac-bias schemes at different temperatures and showed values below 10−5 Φ0/Hz1/2 down to frequencies of about 1 Hz at 70 K.
Journal ArticleDOI

The UT 19-channel DC SQUID based neuromagnetometer.

TL;DR: The overall system is described, and special attention is paid to the SQUID module (bonding, compartments, external-feedback setup, output transformer).
Journal ArticleDOI

Bonding of a niobium wire to a niobium thin film

TL;DR: In this paper, a method for bonding a niobium wire to a thin film is described, which is used as superconducting connections between wire-wound gradiometers and thin-film coupling coils on DC SQUIDS.
