Geant4 developments and applications

TL;DR: GeGeant4 as mentioned in this paper is a software toolkit for the simulation of the passage of particles through matter, it is used by a large number of experiments and projects in a variety of application domains, including high energy physics, astrophysics and space science, medical physics and radiation protection.

Neutral Bremsstrahlung Emission in Xenon Unveiled

TL;DR: Calculations reveal that NBrS causes luminous backgrounds that can interfere, in either gas or liquid phase, with the ability to distinguish and/or to precisely measure low primary-scintillation signals (S1), and opens up a viable path towards obtaining S2 signals for discrimination purposes in future single-phase liquid TPCs for neutrino and dark matter physics.

Ba ion trapping by organic submonolayer: towards an ultra-low background neutrinoless double beta decay detector

P. Herrero-G'omez, +114 more
TL;DR: This is a list of key figures in the history of Spanish organic chemistry, as well as some of the more obscure figures, that have contributed to the development of the discipline.

- 10 May 2022 -
TL;DR: In this article , the authors reported a measurement of the half-life of the Xe136 two-neutrino double-β decay performed with a novel direct-background-subtraction technique.

Reflectance and fluorescence characteristics of PTFE coated with TPB at visible, UV, and VUV as a function of thickness

TL;DR: In this paper , the authors investigated the effect of thickness on the reflectance of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) for light of wavelengths of 200 nm, 260 nm, and 450 nm.
