TL;DR: In this paper, the prevalence of Type 2 diabetes and pre-diabetes in the Portuguese population aged between 20 and 79 years was determined, with a significant difference between men (14.2%) and women (9.5%) with a 95% confidence interval of 10.8-12.6%.
