Journal ArticleDOI

The Mid-Infrared Properties of Starburst Galaxies from Spitzer-IRS Spectroscopy

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors present 5-38 μm mid-infrared spectra at a spectral resolution of R ≈ 65-130 of a large sample of 22 starburst nuclei taken with the Infrared Spectrograph (IRS) on board the Spitzer Space Telescope.
Journal ArticleDOI

Mid-infrared galaxy classification based on silicate obscuration and pah equivalent width

TL;DR: In this article, the authors present a diagnostic diagram for mid-infrared spectra of infrared galaxies based on the equivalent width of the 6.2 μm PAH emission feature and the strength of the 9.7 μm silicate feature.
Journal ArticleDOI

Mid-IR Galaxy Classification Based on Silicate Obscuration and PAH Equivalent Width

TL;DR: In this article, the authors present a diagnostic diagram for mid-infrared spectra of infrared galaxies based on the equivalent width of the 6.2 micron PAH emission feature and the strength of the 9.7 micron silicate feature.
Journal ArticleDOI

CASSIS: The Cornell Atlas of Spitzer /Infrared Spectrograph Sources

TL;DR: In this paper, the spectral atlas of sources observed in low-resolution with the Infrared Spectrograph on board the Spitzer Space Telescope is presented, which correspond to all 13,000 low resolution observations of fixed objects (both single source and cluster observations).
