Time- and angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy with optimized high-harmonic pulses using frequency-doubled Ti:Sapphire lasers
Steffen Eich,A. Stange,Adra Carr,J. Urbancic,Tenio Popmintchev,M. Wiesenmayer,Klaus Jansen,A. Ruffing,S. Jakobs,Timm Rohwer,S. Hellmann,Cong Chen,Piotr Matyba,Lutz Kipp,Kai Rossnagel,Michael Bauer,Margaret M. Murnane,Henry C. Kapteyn,Stefan Mathias,Stefan Mathias,Martin Aeschlimann +20 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors show that 400 nm driven high harmonic extreme-ultraviolet trARPES is superior to using 800 nm laser drivers since it eliminates the need for any spectral selection, thereby increasing photon flux and energy resolution to <150 meV.
Journal ArticleDOI
Self-amplified photo-induced gap quenching in a correlated electron material
Stefan Mathias,Steffen Eich,J. Urbancic,Stephan Michael,Adra Carr,Sebastian Emmerich,A. Stange,Tenio Popmintchev,Timm Rohwer,M. Wiesenmayer,A. Ruffing,S. Jakobs,S. Hellmann,Piotr Matyba,Cong Chen,Lutz Kipp,Michael Bauer,Henry C. Kapteyn,Hans Christian Schneider,Kai Rossnagel,Margaret M. Murnane,Martin Aeschlimann +21 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors elucidate a general relation between ultrafast non-equilibrium electron dynamics and the size of the characteristic energy gap in a correlated electron material and show that carrier multiplication via impact ionization can be one of the most important processes in a gapped material, and that the speed of carrier multiplication critically depends on the energy gap.

TL;DR: It is shown that carrier multiplication via impact ionization can be one of the most important processes in a gapped material, and that the speed of carrier multiplication critically depends on the size of the energy gap.
Journal ArticleDOI
Clinical implementation of platelet- and extracellular vesicle-rich product preparation protocols.
TL;DR: This novel patient-tailored, ESR-based PVRP and PVRG preparation protocol proved effective, safe, fast and straightforward enough for the surgical staff to prepare intraoperatively.
Proceedings ArticleDOI
High Photon Flux 70 eV HHG Source for Applications in Molecular and Solid State Physics
Steffen Hädrich,Jan Rothhardt,Robert Klas,Maxim Tschernajew,A. Hoffmann,Getnet K. Tadesse,Arno Klenke,Thomas Gottschall,Tino Eidam,Jens Limpert,Andreas Tünnermann,Rebecca Boll,Cédric Bomme,H. Sadashivaiah,J. Urbancic,Martin Aeschlimann,Stefan Mathias +29 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a 100 kHz high harmonic source with record high >1011 photons/s in single harmonics between 55-73 eV was presented and used for coincidence experiments and measurements on magnetic samples.
