Lithology substitution in fluvial sand

TL;DR: In this paper, the velocity and density curves from an existing prototype well are perturbed according to a likely situation at a different location, and a new pseudowell is created to generate synthetic full-wave-form seismograms which are then compared to real data at the location.

Predicción de análisis factorial de la tensión efectiva de los atributos medibles de rocas y datos de calibración

Dario Grana, +2 more
- 01 Jul 2011 -
TL;DR: In this paper, aplicar el metodo de analisis factorial estadistico a the prediccion of the tension efectiva of the atributos sismicos is presented.
Journal ArticleDOI

Model-based prediction of porosity and reservoir quality from P- and S-wave data

TL;DR: In this paper, a deterministic methodology for mapping the lithology, pore fluid, and porosity from seismic data is presented, based on a site-specific rock physics model that provides the needed transforms from the elastic rock properties to the reservoir properties.
