Intrinsic Thermal Instability of Methylammonium Lead Trihalide Perovskite
Bert Conings,Jeroen Drijkoningen,Nicolas Gauquelin,Aslihan Babayigit,Jan D'Haen,Lien D'Olieslaeger,Anitha Ethirajan,Jo Verbeeck,Jean Manca,Edoardo Mosconi,Filippo De Angelis,Hans-Gerd Boyen +11 more
TL;DR: In this paper, it was demonstrated that significant decomposition effects already occur during annealing of a methylammonium lead triiode perovskite at 85 °C even in inert atmosphere, thus violating international standards.
Journal ArticleDOI
Perovskite-based hybrid solar cells exceeding 10% efficiency with high reproducibility using a thin film sandwich approach.
TL;DR: This work demonstrates hybrid solar cells based on the mixed perovskite CH3 NH3 PbI2 Cl in a thin film sandwich structure, with unprecedented reproducibility and generating efficiencies up to 10.8%.
Journal ArticleDOI
P3HT/PCBM bulk heterojunction solar cells: Relation between morphology and electro-optical characteristics
Peter Vanlaeke,Ann Swinnen,I. Haeldermans,G. Vanhoyland,Tom Aernouts,David Cheyns,Carsten Deibel,Jan D'Haen,Paul Heremans,Jef Poortmans,Jean Manca +10 more
TL;DR: The performance of organic solar cells based on the blend of regioregular poly(3-hexylthiophene) (P3HT) and phenyl-C61-butyric acid methyl ester (PCBM) is strongly influenced by blend composition and thermal annealing conditions.
Journal ArticleDOI
Effect of temperature on the morphological and photovoltaic stability of bulk heterojunction polymer: fullerene solar cells
Sabine Bertho,G. Janssen,Thomas J. Cleij,Bert Conings,Wouter Moons,Abay Gadisa,Jan D'Haen,Etienne Goovaerts,Laurence Lutsen,Jean Manca,Dirk Vanderzande +10 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the effects of prolonged storage at elevated temperatures on both the morphology and the photovoltaic performance for the model systems MDMO-PPV:PCBM and P3HT-PCBM as compared to "High Tg PPV" is characterized by its high glass transition temperature (138°C).
Journal ArticleDOI
Thin Films of Highly Luminescent Lanthanide Complexes Covalently Linked to an Organic−Inorganic Hybrid Material via 2-Substituted Imidazo[4,5-f]-1,10-phenanthroline Groups
Philip Lenaerts,Annick Storms,Jules Mullens,Jan D'Haen,Christiane Görller-Walrand,Koen Binnemans,Kris Driesen +6 more
TL;DR: A homogeneous distribution of luminescent lanthanide(III) 2-thenoyltrifluoroacetonate complexes (Ln = Pr, Nd, Sm, Eu, Dy, Ho, Er, Tm, Yb) in an organic−inorganic hybrid material was obtained by grafting the complexes to the solid matrix via 2-substituted imidazo[4,5-f]-1,10-phenanthroline moieties.
