Journal ArticleDOI

Study of different chemical methods to prepare ceramic high-temperature superconductors

TL;DR: In this paper, the preparation of precursors of bulk materials by coprecipitation-filtration of hydroxides or oxalates and sol-gel techniques is presented.
Journal ArticleDOI

On the thermal expansion coefficient of CoSi2 and NiSi2

TL;DR: Smeets, D., Vantomme, A as mentioned in this paper, Katholieke Univ Leuven, Inst Kern & Stralingsfys, B-3001 Louvain, Belgium.
Journal ArticleDOI

Detection of salivary α-amylase and lysozyme exposed on the pellicle formed in situ on different materials

TL;DR: Evidence is provided for the first time, that amylase and lysozyme are exposed at the surface of the salivary pellicle formed in situ on titanium and ceramics, irrespective of the underlying substratum.
Journal ArticleDOI

Effect of annealing atmosphere on LiMn2O4 for thin film Li-ion batteries from aqueous chemical solution deposition

TL;DR: In this article, the authors demonstrate and explain the direct relationship between precursor chemistry and phase formation of LiMn2O4 powders and thin films from aqueous chemical solution deposition (CSD).
Journal ArticleDOI

Preparation of a porous nanocrystalline TiO2 layer by deposition of hydrothermally synthesized nanoparticles

TL;DR: In this article, a viscous dispersion of anatase titanium dioxide nanoparticles with a particle size of 10-20nm is prepared by a very simple low temperature (100°C) hydrothermal synthesis route in a pressure vessel, using only water as the medium and Ti(IV)-isopropoxide as starting material without additives.
