Thermal decomposition synthesis of Al-doped ZnO nanoparticles: an in-depth study
Hanne Damm,Hanne Damm,Anke Kelchtermans,Anke Kelchtermans,Anne Bertha,Freya Van den Broeck,Ken Elen,Ken Elen,José C. Martins,Robert Carleer,Jan D'Haen,Jan D'Haen,Christopher De Dobbelaere,Christopher De Dobbelaere,Joke Hadermann,An Hardy,An Hardy,Marlies K. Van Bael,Marlies K. Van Bael +18 more
TL;DR: Al-doped ZnO nanoparticles are synthesized by means of a heating up solution based thermal decomposition method in this article, where the synthesis involves a reaction of zinc acetylacetonate hydrate, aluminium acetylACetonate and 1,2-hexadecanediol in the presence of oleic acid and oleyl amine.
Journal ArticleDOI
2D layered perovskite containing functionalised benzothieno-benzothiophene molecules: formation, degradation, optical properties and photoconductivity
Wouter Van Gompel,Roald Herckens,Paul-Henry Denis,Martijn Mertens,María C. Gélvez-Rueda,Kristof Van Hecke,Bart Ruttens,Jan D'Haen,Ferdinand C. Grozema,Laurence Lutsen,Laurence Lutsen,Dirk Vanderzande,Dirk Vanderzande +12 more
TL;DR: In this article, a benzothieno[3,2-b]benzothiophene (BTBTBT) alkylammonium cation was incorporated into the organic layer of a 2D layered lead iodide perovskite.
Journal ArticleDOI
Phase evolution of sol-gel prepared Pb(Zr0.3Ti0.7)O3 thin films deposited on IrO2/TiO2/SiO2/Si electrodes
D. Van Genechten,G. Vanhoyland,Jan D'Haen,J. Johnson,Dirk Wouters,M. K. Van Bael,H. Van den Rul,Jules Mullens,L.C. Van Poucke +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the temperature and time dependence of the lead zirconate titanate (PZT) film microstructure on this type of conductive oxide substrate, partly through a comparison with identically processed PZT films deposited on Pt substrates, was investigated.
Journal ArticleDOI
Functionalized Dithienylthiazolo[5,4-d]thiazoles For Solution-Processable Organic Field-Effect Transistors
Sarah Van Mierloo,Karolien Vasseur,Niko Van den Brande,Ayse E. Boyukbayram,Ayse E. Boyukbayram,Bart Ruttens,Silvio D. Rodríguez,Silvio D. Rodríguez,Edith Botek,Vincent Liégeois,Jan D'Haen,Peter Adriaensens,Paul Heremans,Benoît Champagne,Guy Van Assche,Laurence Lutsen,Dirk Vanderzande,Dirk Vanderzande,Wouter Maes,Wouter Maes +19 more
TL;DR: A series of 5′-aryl-substituted 2,5-bis(3′-hexylthiophen-2′-yl)thiazolo[5,4-d] derivatives was synthesized and these expanded semiconductors were investigated as active materials for solution-processable organic field-effect transistors.
Journal ArticleDOI
BiFeO3 thin films via aqueous solution deposition: a study of phase formation and stabilization
Nikolina Pavlovic,Jan D'Haen,Hiwa Modarresi,Alexander Riskin,Christopher De Dobbelaere,Margriet J. Van Bael,Kristiaan Temst,An Hardy,Marlies K. Van Bael +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the formation of secondary phases in BFO thin films is studied as a function of annealing temperature and time, film thickness, Bi excess, and Ti substitution.
