Timothy R. Deer,Jason E. Pope,Tim J. Lamer,Jay S. Grider,David A. Provenzano,Timothy R. Lubenow,James J. FitzGerald,Corey W. Hunter,Steven M. Falowski,Dawood Sayed,Ganesan Baranidharan,Nikunj K. Patel,Tim R.C. Davis,Alexander L. Green,Antonio Pajuelo,Lawrence J. Epstein,Michael E. Harned,Liong Liem,Paul J. Christo,Krishnan Chakravarthy,Christopher A. Gilmore,Frank J P M Huygen,Eric T. Lee,Pankaj Metha,Harold Nijhuis,Denis G. Patterson,Erika A. Petersen,Julie G. Pilitsis,Jeffery Rowe,Matthew P. Rupert,Ioannis Skaribas,Jennifer A. Sweet,Paul Verrills,Derron Wilson,Robert M. Levy,Nagy Mekhail +35 more
TL;DR: The Neuromodulation Appropriateness Consensus Committee reconvened to develop the best practices consensus document for the selection, implantation and use of DRG stimulation for the treatment of chronic pain syndromes.
Journal ArticleDOI
DRG FOCUS: A Multicenter Study Evaluating Dorsal Root Ganglion Stimulation and Predictors for Trial Success.
Corey W. Hunter,Dawood Sayed,Timothy R. Lubenow,Tim R.C. Davis,Jonathan D. Carlson,Jeffery Rowe,Ralph Justiz,Tory McJunkin,Timothy R. Deer,Pankaj Mehta,Steven M. Falowski,Leo Kapural,Jason E. Pope,Nagy Mekhail +13 more
TL;DR: The purpose of this study was to assess the efficacy of DRGS on a broad number of diagnoses, determine which dorsal root ganglia were associated with better outcomes for particular body parts/diagnoses, and evaluate what factors/parameters wereassociated with higher rates of trial success.
Journal Article
BURST(able): A Retrospective, Multicenter Study Examining the Impact of Spinal Cord Stimulation with Burst on Pain and Opioid Consumption in the Setting of Salvage Treatment and "Upgrade".
Corey W. Hunter,Jonathan D. Carlson,Ajax Yang,Denis G. Patterson,Ben Lowry,Pankaj Mehta,Jeffery Rowe,Timothy R. Deer +7 more
TL;DR: It is suggested that implementing D-Burst stimulation may be an effective option for treating LOE, as well as potentially reducing opioid consumption, regardless of the prior SCS system.
Journal ArticleDOI
A Review of Emerging Evidence for Utilization of a Percutaneous Interspinous Process Decompression Device to Treat Symptomatic Lumbar Adjacent-Segment Degeneration.
Timothy R. Deer,Dawood Sayed,Mark N. Malinowski,Jeffery Rowe,Jessica B Jameson,Kevin Liang,Joseph A. Sclafani +6 more
TL;DR: Percutaneous interspinous process decompression was used as a salvage treatment modality for persistent structural neurogenic claudication in postlaminectomy syndrome or after spinal cord stimulator implantation.
Book ChapterDOI
Sacral Dorsal Root Ganglion Spinal Stimulation
Jeffery Rowe,Timothy R. Deer,Pankaj Mehta,Jason E. Pope,Denis G. Patterson,Javid Baksh,Maged Guirguis +6 more
TL;DR: Significantly better outcomes are achievable when utilizing sacral DRGS and properly executed lead placement technique in patients who suffer from focal neuropathic pain in the feet and/or ankles without diffuse pain within the lumbar spine and/ or lower extremities.
